Hello 2015!

Another year has come and gone, and that means it's time to take a brief walk down memory lane and  look at what this little blog of mine has accomplished over the last year. I didn't doas many projects as I would have liked to, or increase my blog stats as much as I initially wanted to,but you know what? That's perfectly OK with me. I've enjoyed more time with my kids and family and less time focused on the computer, or worrying about posting every week. For right now, this blog is a happy little hobby of mine and by placing to much pressure on myself for writing, creating, increasing stats, whatever.....it was taking the happiness right out of it. So going forward, you may see me post more sometimes, less sometimes, or maybe not even at all for a few weeks. But what you will see are meaningful projects that took a lot of time, effort, and joy! Lets look back on a few moments of 2014 that bought me a little slice of happiness.

I shared how I painted my kitchen and installed a new backsplash. This space is creeping by super slowly, but I do have a few more updates I have been working on that I hope to share with you soon!

Last January I also started a new gig as a Mood Board contributor on Remodelaholic. I really enjoyed getting back to my roots and creating inspirational design boards every month, so I am super pleased to announce that I will be sticking around with them this year! You can see all the mood boards I created last year here.

I finally put the finishing touches on the Boys/Guest Bathroom and took you on a tour!

I'm super close to finishing up our guest bedroom too. This room makeover has moved at a snails pace, but I'm now 1 step closer after I framed some old artwork I had stashed away!

I also added a fun gallery wall to my foyer that highlighted some of our travels over the years.

This year I would like to add a family gallery wall to our newly painted living room. I haven't shared pictures of that yet, but you can get a quick peak of it here from my last post

I'm still loving these stockings I made for the holidays this year. I never got around to taking you on a tour of our house this Christmas, so I will leave you today with a few photos of our house over the holidays. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thanks for sticking around and reading this little blog of mine.  I sincerely hope you continue to stick around and see what 2015 has in store for me! I've truly enjoyed having you along for the ride:) xoxo Sarah
